Thor by Asa

So these have been done for a month or so now, but I never got them up. here they are. I wanted to make Thor have a small head to show how dumb he is, and the giant to be really giant. Sif was just a side thought of putting the same Thor outfit on his wife.

Por

Yippy, my first contribution. The painting is a bit weak, but overall I am happy with it as my first finished illustration for the group. I plan on going back and trying to hit the earlier projects. We will see how that works out.

October: Momotarō

Momotarō came to Earth inside a giant peach, which was found floating down a river by an old, childless woman who was washing clothes there. The woman and her husband discovered the child when they tried to open the peach to eat it. The couple named him Momotarō, from momo (peach) and tarō (eldest son in the family).

Years later, Momotarō left his parents for an island called Onigashima to destroy the marauding oni (demons or ogres) that dwelt there. En route, Momotarō met and befriended a talking dog, monkey, and pheasant, who agreed to help him in his quest. At the island, Momotarō and his animal friends penetrated the demons' fort and beat the demons' leader, Ura, as well as his army, into surrendering. Momotarō returned home with his new friends, and his family lived comfortably from then on.

Enter the Momo

Messing around with a few things on this one. Just a basic character study, I was going to add more with his ensemble cast but alas, time. Next week I will make up for it, I just wanted to make the deadline this week.
